Our history
When Jonathan Cook and Shane McCulley were trying to figure out what to do with their lives 20 years ago, they probably had no idea what the future had in store. Thomas Edison said, “Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work." Let’s just say, these guys weren’t afraid to work hard, which allowed them to recognize and appreciate each opportunity. In fact, when they had the chance to go to school to become electricians, they found a career path that rewarded hard work, and encouraged entrepreneurship.
Brothers-in-law, Jonathan and Shane had a shared vision—to work harder than everyone else in the industry and build solid trust with clients who counted on them for quality and timeliness.
We need you
After working for other electrical contracting companies for several years, they both knew that their philosophy of getting the job done right, no matter what, was a key factor in their success. Knowing they could offer an impeccable experience to customers needing electrical services, they struck out on their own and created Cook Electrical Contractors, LLC.
This is just the beginning of the story—not only did Cook Electrical Contractors elevate already high industry standards, but they also changed how customer relationships are prioritized. Instead of “you need us,” they believed the opposite, “we need you.” This guiding business principle has been a resounding success as they are in high-demand with customers, and they’ve grown exponentially.
