Cook Electrical Contractors is proud to recognize our 2026 Mid‑South IEC Apprenticeship Program graduates and continuing students. Their dedication, discipline, and commitment to the electrical trade reflect the values we believe in and invest in every day.
Congratulations to our 2026 Mid‑South IEC graduates:
- Ben Williams – Completed all 8,000 required hours and is eligible for Journeyman licensure
- Brayan Valenzuela – Continuing to complete required hours
- Colby Fair – Continuing to complete required hours
We are especially proud of Ben Williams for completing all 8,000 on‑the‑job training hours, a major milestone on the path to becoming a licensed Journeyman Electrician. Brayan and Colby are making strong progress and continue to build the experience required to reach that same goal.
In addition to these graduates, Cook Electrical Contractors currently has 11 employees enrolled in the Mid‑South IEC program, reinforcing our long‑term commitment to developing skilled professionals and future leaders within our company.
Investing in Future Leaders
At Cook Electrical Contractors, we believe one of the most powerful ways to grow our company — and our industry — is by investing in people.
When an employee begins the Mid‑South IEC Journeyman Program:
- The employee covers the first semester of tuition
- Cook Electrical Contractors pays tuition for the remaining semesters as long as the employee maintains an 80% or higher grade
- Upon successful completion of the four‑year program, the first semester tuition is reimbursed
- Employees must complete 8,000 work hours and pass the state Journeyman exam to earn licensure
This program reflects our belief that when we support education, accountability, and hard work, everyone wins.
We are incredibly proud of the achievements our team members have made and look forward to watching each of them continue to grow their careers at Cook Electrical Contractors.
