Cook Electrical Contractors Powers Innovation at Hernando High School

January 16, 2025 – Hernando, MS. Cook Electrical Contractors is proud to contribute our skills and expertise to the transformative Hernando High School project, a landmark development for the DeSoto County school system. Spanning an impressive 93 acres, this innovative campus sets a new standard in education and infrastructure for the region.

The project includes a 209,000-square-foot, single-story building designed to house modern classrooms, a cafeteria, a library, and other essential facilities. In addition to these features, the campus will include multiple sports fields and 17 auxiliary structures, such as ticket booths, concessions, and storage spaces.

Cook Electrical Contractors is playing a critical role in powering the campus, implementing advanced electrical systems to ensure reliable power distribution and modern lighting and safety solutions. The project also includes technology-ready infrastructure to support state-of-the-art learning environments and meet the unique electrical demands of large sports complexes.

“CEC has worked hard to carry out the vision of the Hernando High School campus, and we are grateful to have had the opportunity to work on a project so integral to the DeSoto County school system,” said Jonathan Cook, co-owner of Cook Electrical Contractors, LLC.

This milestone project is a testament to Cook Electrical Contractors’ dedication to innovative solutions and quality craftsmanship.
